Theoretical and computational research on nonlinear optics, photonic crystals and microcavities, optical waveguide arrays, and ultrafast coherent dynamics of excitons in semiconductor nanostructures.
All of my research lies in the area of theoretical condensed-matter physics and nonlinear and quantum optics. This work ranges from pure to applied physics and often involves collaboration with experimentalists. My research is supported by NSERC, CFI, and The Digital Research Alliance of Canada. The following is a brief overview of some of my current research interests:
Parvin Navaeipour’s paper, Third harmonic terahertz generation from graphene in a parallel-plate waveguide, has been published in Physical Review A. This is Parvin’s first paper. Congratulations Parvin!
