Via Rail Discount

Queen's staff and retirees are able to utilize the University's discounted rate with VIA Rail (15% off the best available fare) for personal travel, as well as business travel. Effective July 05, 2016, this corporate discount will no longer apply to Escape Fares.  Queen's discount still applies for all other Economy and Business Class fares so you can continue to enjoy all of the advantages of traveling by train. The Queen’s discounted rate is available to retirees who show their Queen’s Retirees Card.  The 15% discounted fare is above and beyond the already discounted seniors’ rate for anyone over 60. The seniors discount of 10% discount applies to all fare classes except business class. It must be purchased in advance and is subject to availability and other conditions.
