Accessibility: This is a two-level house with no elevator. The first floor is accessible. It includes an accessible single-occupancy washroom, social lounge, and dining space. The second level of the house is not accessible. It includes an open workspace and a single-occupancy washroom.
Washroom: One single-occupancy accessible washroom is located on the ground floor of this building.
Note: YH@140 is only available for full-space booking. Individual rooms cannot be booked.
Room capacity: 10
Description: Use this space to share a meal, for your next meeting, or a games night that requires a large table. Natural light from four windows, soft-white walls, and light wood floors give this room and bright and energetic feeling during the day. Bright overhead lights, or dimmer wall-lights and twinkle lights on the buffet provide lighting options to make the vibe of your event come alive. This space is located directly beside the kitchen. Automatic Door Operator: There is an automatic front-door entrance to the Yellow House and there is no door required to pass through to enter and exit this room.
Accessible Areas Throughout Room: No, but one can enter and exit this room in a wheelchair. Access to the kitchen connected to this space is not accessible.

Description: This kitchen is more like a kitchenette, featuring a sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, coffee machine, and limited counter space. This kitchen is not graded as food-safe, so it cannot be used to cook and prepare full meals. This space is best suited for serving prepared or catered meals, and preparing and serving light snacks and beverages.

*There is a transition to the kitchen that may prevent some wheeled mobility aids from entering this space. Due to its small size, the room lacks the turning radius required for some wheelchairs.

Description: Use this cozy lounge space containing two couches and options for additional chairs for casual group gatherings like meetings that do not require a boardroom table, relaxed brainstorming sessions (large notepad, easels and markers can be provided), games nights that do not require a table and more. This room is also regularly used for wellbeing sessions like group meditation, coffee house conversations, and group counselling. Three windows provide lots of natural light during the day. There are options for bright overhead lighting or dim wall lighting, floor lamps and/or twinkle lights to make the vibe of your event come alive. This space has double doors that may be left open or closed.

Description: Use this space for group study or work sessions, meetings, games nights, or small-format crafting workshops. Rideau Building, 207 Stuart Street, Third Floor
Accessibility: This space is accessible by an elevator. All workspaces are accessible, but there is no accessible washroom in this space.
Washrooms: Two single-occupancy washrooms are located on this floor, however please note that these washrooms are not accessible (lacking the turning radius for wheelchairs).
Note: Yellow House staff will be present for any YH@Rideau bookings between 9am–4pm. After-hours bookings are for the whole space; individual rooms cannot be booked.

Description: Use this space to hold your next crafting or art workshop event. This space features a chalkboard wall, and long tables that can be moved around to best suit your event. Bluetooth speaker is provided to set the right music that will bring the vibe of your event alive. Based on the details included in your booking request, tables and chairs will be provided to support your event. The Yellow House team holds a diverse set of crafting events and has a broad selection of crafting materials and tools available for booking – include this in your request and we will share what we have to support your event.

Description: Use this space to screen a show or movie, to practice your next presentation in a collaborative space, or to meet in a space that requires a large screen to display your work. This space contains an approx. 5x7 foot screen, and projector set up (HDMI). Based on the details included in your booking request, tables and chairs will be provided to support your event.
