Transfers to Arts and Science

Applicants who wish to transfer to the Faculty of Arts and Science may do so as either an internal or as an external transfer student. 

Transfer students must meet the admission requirements for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and specific departmental criteria. Further, meeting minimum admission average does not guarantee admission.  Since there are limited spaces, we encourage you to apply early.

• Internal transfers to on-campus study in the Faculty of Arts and Science from another Faculty, School or Distance Studies at Queen's.
• External transfers to on-campus study in the Faculty of Arts and Science from another post-secondary institution.
• External transfers to Distance Studies in the Faculty of Arts and Science from another post-secondary institution.
