After nearly eight years, Interfaith Chaplain Kate Johnson has made the decision to leave the university next month to follow a new direction. The university is sincerely grateful to Kate for her significant contributions to the campus community.

As Student Affairs prepares to recruit for the next Interfaith Chaplain, faculty, staff, and students are invited to provide input on the supports provided by Faith and Spiritual Life to students and to the university, which include providing counsel to students on a variety of issues, leading faith-based activities, supporting religious accommodations, and officiating at events such as convocation, Remembrance Day Services, Alumni events etc. Specifically:

  • How often do you interact with Faith and Spiritual Life and what is the nature of interaction?
  • Are there any different or additional services/supports that should be considered for Faith and Spiritual Life?
  • What are the most important considerations for the Interfaith Chaplain and FSL at Queen’s at this time?
  • Do you have any other comments?
