As a pillar of Queen’s strength, research is regularly featured in the media and across university channels, helping bring new Queen’s discoveries and ideas to broader audiences.
To support this work, a new form is now available for researchers to submit details about their research to be considered for promotion, including media outreach, storytelling in publications like the Gazette, and digital promotion across central university channels.
The form can be used to share work such as journal articles, initiatives, projects, and announcements that may be of interest to the campus community or connected to broader public conversations. It creates a simple and streamlined way for researchers across the university to share their work, supporting a more coordinated approach to Media Relations and Research Communications.
When you submit, you’ll be asked to describe your research in plain language, explain why it matters, and identify any key dates. You can also include supporting materials such as papers, preprints, images, or video to help illustrate your work. Sharing your work in advance, particularly ahead of publication or announcement dates, can help support more effective planning.
The form is available to research faculty, graduate students, and post-doctoral scholars, and can be found on the Media Relations section of the Gazette.
