Results of recent Senate elections

The Senate determines all matters of an academic character which affect Queen’s as a whole.

Two elections were recently held to select Staff and Faculty/Librarian/Archivist representatives to Queen's University Senate, following a formal nomination and voting process. 

The following individuals were elected and will serve terms from Sept. 1, 2026, to Aug. 31, 2029:

  • Staff at Large: Jesse Bambrick (Facilities)
  • Faculty/Librarian/Archivist at Large: Mohammad Zulkernine (School of Computing)
