About Tassiane

Geologist graduated in 2017 from the University of Brasília (Brazil). Master in Hydrogeology by the Institute of Geosciences of the University of Brasília (Brazil). PhD ongoing on the application of non-traditional isotope systems in the Great Lakes region as an environmental proxy. Environmental Geochemiscist: Major ion, trace element, and stable isotopic investigations of groundwater (fractured bedrock and porous media aquifers) and surface water systems; water quality, water-rock interactions and determining geogenic and anthropogenic sources of metals in the environment.

  • Seed Funding Award for Globally-Engaged Research Collaborations: TASSIANE JUNQUEIRA, Queen's University. For research titled “Applying Cu and Zn isotopes as an environmental tool to trace sources and fates of metals in the Laurentian Great Lakes”
  • Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) Scholarship. Master’s Degree at the University of Brasília. 1/2018 to 1/2020.
  • Scientific Initiation Scholarship (PIBIC). Brazilian Scientific and Technologic development Council (CNPQ, Brazil). University of Brasília, Brazil. 1/2015 to 1/2016.
