Video Editor and Online Content Creator

Job Type: Work Study. Students MUST first receive an entitlement or bursary from Student Awards to be considered for Work Study positions.

Positions available: 1

Hourly rate: Minimum wage

Hours: 67 hours over 3 months (February – April).  More hours may be added if necessary.

Location of Work: Remote

Job Description: The Video Editor & Online Content Creator will create videos and online content that align with the goals and vision of the Department of Gender Studies. This will include collecting new videos, editing existing videos, creating a video theme, and producing department-branded promotional and event videos.  This position will also create and collect visual, dynamic content to be used on the department's social media accounts and website.  This opportunity will be of interest to students with video editing and graphic design skills.

Qualifications: Proficient in video editing and graphic design; Ability to quickly learn different software platforms; Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders; Ability to make connections between the department's strategic vision and visual design
