Bernie LeBlanc

I love history. It informs everything that happens today and that will happen tomorrow.

Met some really quality people - students and profs. Phil Steencamp and Ernie Getz I remember well but I can't recall the names of the others whom I also admired. I was absolutely inspired by Geoff Smith and Joy Parr (again among others).

Learning history taught me how to learn law. What is law but history, applied? My MA also taught me how to think critically, a skill I use every day.

Fondest memories: The grad club was fantastic :) Honestly, Geoff Smith taught me how to think and Joy Parr taught me more about equality and related than I could have imagined.

Advice to History Students: It's trite, but enjoy and appreciate every minute of it. And don't be shy about asking questions.
