Are you unsure of your next steps once you graduate from Queen’s with your history degree?

On Wednesday March 2, 6-7 pm (EST), the GHSA will host its first Career Panel: Non-History Careers.

This is a great opportunity to hear from three Queen’s history grads who work in non-history jobs. The goal of this event is to introduce you to possible career paths outside of the history and heritage industries, and to give you a chance to ask questions and on how these individuals used the skills they gained throughout their history degrees and applied them to other sectors.

The event will take place on Zoom and registration is required. Register here.

Panelists Include:

Dr. Robin Ramcharan – Executive Director, ASIA Centre – Queen’s BA Graduate (MA from LSE, LLB from UCL, PhD from Graduate Institute of International Studies)

Dr. Heena Mistry – Manager, EDI Training, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives at Wilfrid Laurier University – Queen’s MA and PhD Graduate

Lloyd Rang – President & CEO of Lloyd Rang Communications – Queen’s MA Graduate

Moderated by Joanne Archibald, Queen’s PhD student and GHSA Professional Development Representative

COVID regulations permitting, those based in Kingston are invited to attend a networking and discussion session at the Duke of Wellington.
