Professor Laila Haidarali was featured in the August 14th edition of Trinidad & Tobago Newsday. In the article, entitled "Round the Savannah still," Dr. Haidarali discusses her childhood years living in round the Savannah and in the Petit Valley, as well as her academic journey after emigrating to Canada and being an outsider in her field.
