Brad Tipler leads successful technology teams that deliver strategic innovation. He was a founder or founding member of three startups (one exit) and now mentors startups. With “Forrest Gump” timing Brad has played significant roles in the technologies that have shaped our time. While a Chairman in the Bluetooth SIG he announced the official release of Bluetooth 1.0 and led Intel’s use of Bluetooth in consumer products. Brad built IP routers while managing the early Canadian branch of the Internet. He also co-authored the NATO standard used for secure inter-nation communications during Desert Storm and invented a medical-grade video technology for cell phones. Brad is an expert in wireless standards, RF, networking, cellular, cameras, video, security & privacy, and related patents. Brad’s longtime passion is career strategy. He is currently writing a related book and developing online tools. He has engineering degrees from Queen’s University (B.Sc.) and Carleton University (M.Sc.).
