James has worked in and around Silicon Valley since 1999 in an array of Supply-Chain Management functions spanning planning, procurement, warehousing, inventory management and logistics. James is currently a Director of Materials at Apple Inc where he manages Procurement and Planning for AppleCare. Prior to Apple, Mr Verner has held a variety of supply-chain management positions in companies that include Tyco, Proxim and Webvan. James received his undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics from Queen’s, a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies from Imperial College, London and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is also a member of the Nature Conservancy Leadership Council and an Advisor to D-REV, a non-profit devoted to development of medical devices for developing economies.
