Rico Garcia Ondarza is an Engagement Manager in McKinsey & Company’s Toronto office, where he is a core member of its Public Sector Practice. As a part of the Reimagining Economies Domain, Rico often leads engagements in both Economic Development and Public Finance topics. In addition to serving public entities, Rico has served private financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, and pension funds) across North America, Central America and the Caribbean, Ireland, New Zealand / Australia, South Africa, China / Hong Kong, and the Philippines. Rico is also actively involved with the community, spending the majority of his volunteer time with Queen’s University, where he currently serves as the President of the Queen’s University Alumni Association (QUAA).
