Dr. Lisa Butler, Queen’s University Professor (Public Health Sciences) and Canada Research Chair (Global Health Equity), has been named the recipient of the 2026 Principal’s Globally Engaged Education Innovation Award (presented in partnership with the Office of the Vice-Provost Global Engagement), a well-deserved recognition of her transformative approach to teaching and learning at Queen’s University.

Dr. Butler creates learning experiences rooted in innovation, reimagining how students engage with global health challenges.
