June 1-4, 2026 - Queen's University - Kingston, Ontario, Canada
The North American Symbiotic Nitrogen Fixation Conference (NASNFC) has been held every two to three years for over 50 years. Originally called the Rhizobium Conference at its first meeting in 1968, the NASNFC underwent a name change to represent the geographic distribution of the majority of the participants, and to include a focus on a broader range of topics spanning from fundamental research to applied science. The primary aim of the NASNFC is to provide a platform for researchers across various, related specialties to share and discuss the latest findings in nitrogen fixation research in North America.
Queen's University has a long history of research related to symbiotic nitrogen fixation, and for the first time, will serve as host of NASNFC in June 2026. We look forward to welcoming you to the conference, and the city.
