Registration Fees

All fees are provided in Canadian dollars, and are pre-tax (denoted as HST and equal to 13% the fee).

  • In-person, regular (non-student) registration: $525 + HST
  • In-person, student (graduate or undergraduate) registration: $375 + HST
  • Virtual, regular (non-student) registration: $125 + HST
  • Virtual, student (graduate or undergraduate) registration: $75 + HST
  • Extra banquet ticket: $125 + HST
  • Pre-conference networking event (Kingston Penitentiary tour): $40 + HST

 

In-Person Registration Includes:

  • Monday opening session and reception
  • Tuesday sessions, breakfast, lunch, and the AM and PM breaks
  • Wednesday sessions, breakfast, lunch, and the AM and PM breaks
  • Thursday sessions, breakfast, lunch, and the AM and PM breaks
  • The Thursday dinner banquet cruise
  • Access to the zoom link and recordings as detailed below in the section Virtual Registration

Standard registration does not include the tour of the Kingston Penitentiary. As noted above, there is an additional fee to participate in the tour, which can be paid during registration if you are interested in participating.

 

Virtual Registration Includes:

All conference sessions (excluding the poster sessions) will be streamed over zoom. In addition, to accommodate time zones, all sessions will be recorded and made available for approximately one week for asynchronous viewing. Virtual registration will provide access to the zoom link and recordings of the following sessions:

  • Monday opening session
  • Tuesday sessions
  • Wednesday sessions
  • Thursday sessions

 

Professional Code of Conduct

The NASNFC organizing committee is committed to a safe and inclusive meeting for all attendees at NASNFC. Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated at any meeting or event associated with the NASNFC. All communication at NASNFC should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Be inclusive and respectful. Those who violate the standards of professional and respectful conduct may be asked to leave the meeting immediately, and may not be invited to future NASNFC conferences.

Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination includes offensive comments and actions related to age, gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion; deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention.

If you are the subject of unacceptable behavior or have witnessed any such behavior, please immediately notify one of the NASNFC organizing committee members.
