Udo Schüklenk, Professor of Philosophy at Queen’s and Ontario Research Chair in Bioethics, served on the federal government's COVID-19 Testing and Screening Expert Advisory Panel, whose latest report pertains to Canada's border restrictions and quarantine policies. As the CBC describes, the report recommends the federal government “end its policy of mandatory three-day quarantine stays in designated facilities for air travellers returning to Canada in favour of letting people come up with their own quarantine plans”.
