Cayuse – Sponsored Projects, the new research administration system for Queen’s grants and contracts approvals and management is expected to launch early in the summer. Previously scheduled for April, the launch was delayed while we carefully validated high quality migration of the TRAQ DSS files and a smooth transition for users.

The new, cloud-based research administration platform is designed to improve efficiency, transparency, and collaboration. Cayuse – Sponsored Projects will help researchers in managing the lifecycle of research projects, including approvals, compliance, and reporting.

Until further notice, management of ethics applications and biohazard permits will remain on TRAQ.

Immediately before we launch Cayuse – Sponsored Projects, there will be a blackout period for the TRAQ DSS system over several days while the final data migration is completed. More information about the blackout and a strategy for urgent submissions will be communicated closer to that date.

We are planning a Cayuse Town Hall closer to launch and will be communicating more details in the weeks ahead.

Please refer to the Research Service Portal for support in navigating this change and understanding how the new system works.
