At Queen’s, we recognize the profound impact research can have on individuals, communities, and society. Upholding the highest standards of research ethics is central to our mission, ensuring all studies respect the rights, safety, and dignity of human participants.
Our web pages serve as a comprehensive resource hub, offering researchers a wealth of information, guidelines, templates, and tools to navigate the complexities of ethical research.
Ethics boards
Queen’s research ethics boards diligently review research protocols and applications to ensure ethical guidelines and principles are upheld. Queen’s has two established research ethics boards: Health Sciences and Affiliated Teaching Hospitals Research Ethics Board (HSREB) and the General Research Ethics Board (GREB) and an affiliated research ethics pool to assist where specialized knowledge is necessary.
