Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) has released two new guidance documents through its Safeguarding Your Research Portal:
- The Guidance on Risk and Mitigation for the Use of Drones provides information for researchers planning projects involving drones, including considerations related to equipment, components, and non-trusted partners.
- The Guidance on Malign Foreign Talent Programs offers information to help researchers and research organizations identify and mitigate associated research security risks.
Researchers are encouraged to review the guidance early in the project planning process to help ensure research activities align with federal research security requirements.
