Peer Mentorship
First-Year Peer Mentor Progam:
The QSuccess program matches first-year students with an upper-year mentor to help support a successful transition through students' first year of university.
Upper-Year Peer Mentor Program:
The Upper-Year Peer Mentor Program is an upper year support program delivered by the Student Experience Office. The program is designed to match graduate and upper-year peer mentors with Queen's students who are second-year and above who believe that they would benefit from the support of a Mentor.

Are you a staff, faculty or student group looking to build or enhance a mentoring program at Queen's? Check out the MentorHUB - a resource library to help you develop, implement, or evaluate mentorship programs. Drawing on leading research and best practices in the field of Mentorship, you will find ideas, resources and templates that will assist you in building high-quality programming so that your mentors and mentees engage in a safe and positive mentoring experience.

Certificate Programs
Empowered to Lead Program
The Empowered to Lead program for current and prospective student leaders is designed to help you develop and practice key leadership skills, broaden your perspective on leadership, and meet like-minded peers. Gender-Based Violence Awareness & Bystander Intervention
This program offers includes four different workshops to choose from to build your awareness and skills in relation to GBV prevention and Bystander Intervention.
Lead, Include, Transform (LIT)
Administered by a trained team of student leaders, LIT Training provides students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to reflect on personal privileges and oppressions and how they show up on campus.
Positive Space
Offered through the Human Rights and Equity Office, the Positive Space 2-part sticker program celebrates sexual and gender diversity at Queen's and offers visibility and support to 2SLGBTQI+ communities.
Action, Commitment, Transformation (ACT)
Once you complete LIT, GBV Awareness and Bystander Intervention, and Positive Space training, conclude with a final ACT workshop to receive an official ACT certificate and badge.

Queen's Shift Project
The Queen's Shift Project events and initiatives are created and facilitated with the goal of centering equity-deserving student experiences, providing opportunities for dialogue around topics outlined in the survey, and acting on next steps towards improving campus culture at Queen’s.
These events & initiatives are open to all students looking to be part of the shift towards a safer and more inclusive student experience for all!
