Feat. Johannes Brahms' magnificent clarinet quintet
Clarinetist and Queen’s faculty member, Kornel Wolak, joins the Isabel Quartet to perform the towering Brahms Clarinet Quintet. In addition to Haydn’s Opus 20, No. 6 in A Major, the concert includes a performance of Madra by Bruce A. Russell (aka El Mahboob), a Toronto-based composer who was born in Kingston in 1968. The Quartet’s First Violinist, Laura Andriani, is unable to play this concert and we are fortunate to have Marc Djokovic fill in.

He is a Mécénat Musica Prix Goyer recipient and winner of the 2020 ECMA Classical Recording of the Year for his debut album Solo Seven.
