He led with love

Andrzej has been appointed associate vice-president for corporate services at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in Rome, a UN-specialized agency and international financial institution. He leads IFAD’s corporate functions, supporting its global development operations, and is the most senior Canadian at the organization. Andrzej previously served as chief operating officer at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID). He has also held senior leadership roles with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Brian, an Australian, graduated from Queen’s with a Master of Science in Engineering. He has since made important contributions in Australia to traffic engineering and regional planning. For his achievements in these fields he was awarded an Order of Australia Medal on Australia Day, January 26, 2026.

He has also been twice commended by the Florida Supreme Court for his service to the Guardian Ad Litem Program.

Joanna was awarded with the WXN Top 100 most Powerful Women in Canada in 2025. She won in the Entrepreneurs category, which recognizes women who own and operate thriving businesses. Joanna is the founder and CEO of Kirke Leadership. She was deeply moved to be among such an outstanding group of talented women. Her co-workers, friends and family are proud of this recognition.
