Application Process: Art History Master's Program

  • Fill out an application online and “submit” when you have completed.
  • Your Referees (2) will receive an automated email from SGS as soon as you submit your application online. Your referees will fill out the reference as per the instructions, and their reference letter will be automatically returned directly to SGS without your assistance.
  • Send your CV and writing sample to the Graduate Program Assistant at art.history@queensu.ca, preferably by email as PDF or MS Word documents. 
  • Arrange for official and up-to-date transcripts from all current and previous study to be sent directly from issuing institutions to the School of Graduate Studies
  • Language Test Scores (if required):
  • IELTS Scores: The TRF number found on your IELTS score report should be sent directly to the School of Graduate Studies following the submission of your application:.
  • TOEFL, PTE Academic and CAEL CE Scores: Request that the testing center release your test scores directly to Queen's University (0949). Once you have submitted your application, inform the School of Graduate Studies that your score report is available to retrieve electronically from the official testing site.
