The Page Lecture: Dr. Jordan Abel

Please join the Department of English for the 11^th annual Joanne Page Lecture featuring Jordan Abel on Tuesday November 8^th at 2:30pm.

The talk will be held in Watson Hall 517 (TBC based on registration) with a reception to follow and will also be livestreamed to Zoom. This event is free and registration for in-person attendance is required.

For a decade, the English Department has brought renowned Canadian writers to campus to reflect on artistic craft through the evocative prompt of “the page.” Supported by Steve Page and family, and Joanne’s sister, Patricia Bowles, this event honours the late Kingston author and painter Joanne Page and has hosted a diverse array of writers from across the country. Many of the lectures have been published as chapbooks.
