Nobodies, New Release

Queen's English alum Chris Gilmore has just released his first short story collection, Nobodies (Now or Never Publishing). Congratulations, Chris! Here's what a couple of accomplished writers have to say about it:

"Smart, sensitive, and deadpan, these stories make us feel both reassured and insecure. Serious while being tongue-in-cheek, perplexed while still authoritative, Gilmore pokes a playful innocent stick at the idea of who gets to tell a story and why. Nobodies is full of real talent: for straight-up realistic storytelling and the more inventive exercises in form." - Michael Winter, Giller Prize nominee and author of Into the Blizzard

"A truly disturbing, funny, and sharply observed take on loneliness, insecurity, and the search for connection through the omnipresent, semi-permeable barriers of modern hyperconnectedness (and excessive body hair). It will also remind you how many of your favourite writers died of tuberculosis." - Andrew Battershill, Giller Prize nominee and author of Pillow
