Introducing, the Carolyn Smart Writer's Residency!
For decades, Professor Smart dedicated her efforts to help the next generation of Canadian writers. Her former students have won nearly every literary award in Canada. She has created publishing opportunities, founded literary awards, and ran a Writer's Residency at Queen's since 2006.
The English Department is recognizing Carolyn's legacy by naming the Writer's Residency in her honour. We need support to endow the fund and ensure the program's longevity at Queen's.
