Armand Ruffo, 2020 Latner Writers’ Trust Poetry Prize Winner
Armand Ruffo, on being awarded the 2020 Latner Writers’ Trust Poetry Prize. Sponsored by the Latner Family Foundation, the $25,000 prize is given annually to a mid-career poet in recognition of a “remarkable body of work, and in anticipation of future contributions to Canadian poetry.” The decision of this year's jury (Marilyn Dumont, Susan Glickman, and Kaie Kellough) was announced on December 2 via the digital Writers' Trust Awards.
