Introduction to Prose
This workshop course focuses on weekly writing and editing exercises and includes a detailed discussion and analysis of each student’s work. During the semester different types of literary prose will be explored – short stories, memoir, flash fiction, novels – as well as the various elements used in these forms. Come prepared for some in-class writing at every session. Participation and attendance are essential.
