Data gathered by the HBSC study have been the basis of hundreds of peer- reviewed scientific articles, making a substantial contribution to improved understanding of adolescent health. This information is used to understand how communities, schools, and educators can support healthy development through their practices, programs, and policies. Further, findings from academic research inform health, education, and social policy and programs from school to international levels.

This selection of recent HBSC peer-reviewed articles demonstrates a fraction of the vast range of youth health topics studied by leading scientists through the HBSC project.
