History MA Information Session

History undergraduate students in their final year are invited to an MA Information Session that is being held on Wednesday, October 25th, 6 pm in Mackintosh-Corry Hall​ D202.

Students will learn about how to apply to graduate school and about external funding, specifically the MA in History at Queen's and the Social Science and Humanities Research Council scholarship for Master’s students (SSHRC Canadian Graduate Scholarship-Master’s).   
 
The event will be hosted by the Graduate Chair, Dr. Jeff McNairn, and will be joined by current history graduate students. They will talk with students about their interests, pursuing further graduate studies in History, and our program. This upcoming event will focus on practical matters related to the application requirements, tips for your personal statement, and opportunities to help you navigate the process of applying for the MA and the SSHRC CGS-M (currently $17,500 and due December 1st).
