Dr. Quinn Albaugh, Assistant Professor, has joined the new editorial team of the European Journal of Politics and Gender as Associate Editor.
Dr. Albaugh's work ranges from qualitative and mixed-method studies of political parties to quantitative political behaviour research. Their ongoing research focuses particularly on women and LGBTQ+ candidates and representation, LGBTQ+ political behaviour, and public opinion on LGBTQ+ rights. Within LGBTQ+ politics, they have a particular interest in examining inequalities facing trans.
Dr. Albaugh joins a team of scholars from Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Australia:
The team aims to reflect the diversity of the field as much as possible — spanning different geographic locations, career stages, and caring responsibilities. It also boasts wide methodological expertise, mirroring the breadth of gender and LGBTQ+ politics research in all its diversity.
