Please join for a socially distanced vigil for Anthony Aust. November 8th, 4pm, Market Square.

23-year old Anthony Aust died when a SWAT team entered his family's apartment in a 'no-knock' raid on Oct 7th in Ottawa. Anthony's brother is a dear member of the Queen's and Kingston community.

Join us as we remember Anthony and gather in solidarity against racism, racial violence, and police brutality in Kingston, Canada and across the world.

Vigil will include:
- Speakers
- A candlelight memorial
- An Open Mic

All welcome. Please wear a mask and maintain physical distance of 6 feet from others outside of your bubble and dress warmly for the weather! Candles will be provided but attendees are also encouraged to bring your own. Signs are welcome!

The vigil will also honour the life of Abdirahman Abdi and Black lives taken globally, as well as honoring the victims killed by the Nigerian government as they protested #ENDSARS .
