Part-time 12 month contract
The Departments of English and Gender Studies at Queen’s University invite applications for a Tenure-track or tenured position at an open rank (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor) with specialization in Black Creative Writing and Cultural Production. The successful applicant will be a Black creative artist with a strong publishing record, evidence of commitment to teaching excellence, and demonstrated critical expertise in Black Studies. The preferred starting date is July 1, 2021.

Queen’s is advertising a number of faculty positions, in support of Queen’s interdisciplinary Black Studies program and the planned BA Minor/General in Black Studies.
The Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen’s University is pleased to invite applications for three one-year Pre-Doctoral Fellowships for Black Studies Students.
Reporting to the Department Manager, and receiving work direction from the Director of Black Studies, the Program and Administrative Assistant, Black Studies is responsible for the daily administration and operation of the Black Studies undergraduate program (BLCK Studies).
We are now accepting MA & PhD applications for Fall 2022 admission.
December 1: Early consideration deadline.
January 15: Final application deadline.
