University Pension Plan (UPP) is a new jointly sponsored pension plan (JSPP) and the first of its kind in Ontario’s university sector.

Retiree Benefits

Manulife Secure Site

The Manulife Secure Site allows you to view your benefit coverages, submit claims online and access any forms you may need.  It is a secure and convenient way to manage your benefits.

Retiree Cards

If you are a retiree of Queen's, you are entitled to a Retiree Card. It can be used for discounts at places such as VIA rail, select hotels, and reduced ARC membership. Your Retiree Card may also be used at the library. Upon your first visit, please be prepared to show a piece of ID along with your Retiree Card and a barcode will be added to your new card.

To request a card, please email hradmin@queensu.ca with your name, employee number, and year of retirement. Once ready, cards must be picked up in person at the Human Resources reception area in Fleming Hall, Steward-Pollock wing. 

If a replacement card is required, a $20 replacement fee will be charged.
