Brianna earned their BA (Honours) in 2021 from Queen’s University in Film & Media Studies and History and their Master of Information (MI) in 2023 from the University of Toronto. Brianna’s work at the IIGR focuses on the metadata management of institutional research outputs with the goal of improving the findability, accessibility, dissemination, and preservation of these materials. They also assist in the training of new student researchers by conducting research skills workshops. 

 Brianna also conducts research in collaboration with the SSHRC funded project Borders in Globalization, based at the University of Victoria. Brianna’s current research on a-territorial border dyads aims to better understand how countries are enforcing their borders away from boundary lines. They are interested in preclearance, pre-screening, and pre-approval agreements, facilities, and operations and how these processes are managed by cooperating countries.
