“Weaving sustainable futures for the generations to come: Insights from Indigenous research.”

Date: Friday 5th November 2021

Time: 9am – 3pm (EST) Online.

Hosts: Office of Indigenous Initiatives & the School of Graduate Studies

This is an annual event focusing on research collaboration with Indigenous communities. Our keynote address for 2021 is by Queen’s Chancellor, the Honorable Murray Sinclair, followed by graduate student presentations and workshop discussions bringing Indigenous and non-Indigenous academics, students, community members and invited guests together.

In 2021, the Indigenous Research Collaboration Day will be hosted online, and this year’s theme is “Weaving sustainable futures for the generations to come: Insights from Indigenous research.” We envision this event as an opportunity to share experiences about integrating the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals with Indigenous Research perspectives.  We will be focusing on three specific Sustainable Development Goals:  Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, and Reduced Inequality.

Registration is now open.

NoteRegistration will close 5pm on Wednesday 3rd November. You will be sent details on Thursday 4th November of how to log in on the day.
