Jordan’s research focuses primarily on questions concerning the ethics of membership and the boundaries of justice. Current projects include: developing the roles of reciprocity and vulnerability at the heart of an inclusive model of citizenship; examining the constitutive role of territory in a political conception of peoplehood; and identifying the communities within which special duties of justice are owed to co-members.
