Abstract

We will explore what relativity has to say about the foundations of quantum information and quantum optics, and, conversely, what quantum information and quantum optics can potentially tell us about our investigations of the mysteries of cosmology, early universe physics and the very nature of the gravitational interaction. In this talk we will hopefully appreciate that when one steps into the realm of relativistic quantum information, even simple questions such as "What am I really doing when I measure the electromagnetic field?" have strikingly interesting answers that can defy our intuition.
