Biography

Yerin Chung is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Studies at Queen's University specializing in Political Theory and International Relations, working under the supervision of Dr. Margaret Moore. Yerin's current research focuses on the intersection of ethics and public policy. Her research explores the relationship between theory and practice, focusing on health policy related to Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID).

Yerin also serves on the board for the Canadian Peace Research Association (CPRA) as the Director of Communications and Public Relations. Previously the Coordinator for the Gender Lab, Yerin works as a Researcher at the Centre for International and Defence Policy (CIDP) at Queen's. Previously, Yerin earned a M.A. degree in Political Science with a Specialization in Political Theory and a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Political Science, both from Western University.
