The Matariki Network of Universities at Queen's
Queen's staff members are encouraged to engage with Matariki Network initiatives, whether by participating in activities planned by guest lecturers from across the network, or by pursuing professional development opportunities such as an international staff exchange to a partner in Europe.

This Program aims to enrich the international dimensions of the university, both within our classrooms and within our research environment, by providing subsidies for international travel of scholars to Queen's and scholars and staff from Queen's.
This is funded entirely by Queen’s and is designed to enhance our community’s connections with the Matariki Network.
Staff are eligible to apply for the Category 2 award, which supports visits by Queen’s faculty and staff members to Matariki Network partners.
Staff may also watch out for guest lectures presented by visiting colleagues from across the Matariki Network of Universities, utilising PDF Category 1 funds to do so. These events provide an opportunity to engage with global research, and to meet with international colleagues.
