Research Centres and Institutes
The Research Centres and Institutes (RCI) team provides oversight, guidance, and strategic support to Queen’s recognized RCIs, helping establish and renew centres, and develop operational plans. They ensure that RCIs are well-positioned to secure future funding, enhance their impact, sustain long-term research excellence, and establish governance models and accountability frameworks. The team works closely with directors, advisory boards, and university leadership to advance the university’s priorities in RCI development and research infrastructure, ensuring these hubs remain vital drivers of interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.
