From Discovery to Impact: Exploring Commercialization and Ventures at Queen’s
3:00 - 4:30 pm - Rose Event Common, Mitchell Hall
To kick-off the week for Queen’s University, Partnerships and Innovation is inviting researchers, students, industry partners and innovation ecosystem supporters from across the Kingston region to join us for an engaging panel of researchers who have successfully navigated the journey from research and discovery through commercialization, venture creation and real-world impact.
Kingston Economic Development Welcome Night
5:00 - 6:30 pm - Daft Brewery
Hosted by Kingston Economic Development Corporation, this special edition of Welcome Night welcomes Queen’s alumni and graduates back to Kingston to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Homecoming this fall, October 16–18. Also open to Innovation Week attendees, the event offers an opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and build new connections. Join us for an evening of networking, relationship-building, and exploring collaborative opportunities in Kingston’s thriving business ecosystem.

Robotics and AI Symposium
8:30 am - 5:30 pm - School of Kinesiology and Ingenuity Labs, Mitchell Hall
The annual Robotics and AI Symposium is partnering with Mitacs and Launch Lab, our Regional Innovation Centre, for a great day featuring multiple short talks by our Faculty Members, industry collaborators, and regional startups.

Regional Pitch Competition
8:30 am - 5:00 pm - Mitchell Hall Atrium
This full day of pitches will be hosted by the Dunin-Deshpande Queen's Innovation Centre in Mitchell Hall. The morning session will feature life sciences and health pitches while the afternoon will be sector agnostic. Open Door Tour
12:30 - 2:30pm - Kingston Process Metallurgy Inc. and RXN HUB
This is a tour of Kingston Process Metallurgy Inc. (KPM) and RXN HUB. You will tour labs and piloting facilities, see active projects, and learn about the development and scale-up of chemical technologies happening here in Kingston.
