The Isabel is turning 10! Join us for this free event announcing the upcoming 2024/25 tenth anniversary season with complimentary refreshments.

Our annual composer festival celebrates the music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky with a performance of his second and fourth symphonies.

A Night on Broadway with The Isabel Voices and 10-piece band will transport audiences to the dazzling world of musical theatre!

Hosted by Kingston’s own Liam Karry, this event promises to delight. Sistema Kingston presents a varied musical program including Nahuatl songs, a Ukrainian folk melody, "O Siem" by Susan Aglukark, a Mozart Serenade arrangement, the new Sistema Canada commissioned string work by Kathryn Patricia Cobbler, as well as the Sistema Kingston classic "D String Boogie" in a new arrangement. Students will perform in choir, as well as drumming, strings and xylophone ensembles. Celebrate our students and share the love of music with us at this annual fundraising event!

Pianist Jonathan Mak, winner of the 2023 inaugural Bader & Overton Canadian Piano Competition, will take the Isabel stage performing a program of repertoire by Bach, Schumann, and Prokofiev.

For over six decades NYO Canada has enjoyed
a reputation as this nation's pre-eminent
pre-professional orchestral training institute,
providing an essential bridge to the profession
for Canada's finest young musicians aged 16-28.

Inuk soprano Deantha Edmunds, recently appointed
a member of the Order of Canada, shares original
selections from her award-winning Indigenous
classical album, Connections. Performing alongside
one of Canada's finest chamber music ensembles, the
New Orford String Quartet.
