The event is taking place in the QUIC Kitchen, 208 Mitchell Hall on Monday March 20, from 5 - 6:30pm.

Advancing Positive Social Change as Alumni

QTBIPoC Hike (Mindfulness Walk)

Students who are BIPoC and/or 2SLGBTQ+ are invited to join us and Interfaith Chaplain Erin Burns at Lemoine Point as we navigate movement, stillness, contemplation, and reflection as we ground ourselves in nature.

  • 11:15 from, Yellow House (140 Stuart St)

Returns to campus around 2:00pm.


Please Note:
- Event is open to Queen's QTBIPoC students.
- Advanced registration is required to reserve a spot in any scheduled hike. Please cancel reservations if unable to participate, so others may join.
- Proper outdoor attire is suggested – warm late winter/spring clothing, running shoes, water bottle, etc.
- The trails at Lemoine Point are flat, wide, hard-packed surfaces which are generally accessible the majority of the year. We encourage anyone who would like to discuss accessibility needs for this event to reach out to kel.martin@queensu.ca

 

Get Ready for Queer Prom

Parallel Play (Queen's Neurodivergent Alliance)

Bringing neurodivergent peers together, Yellow House is collaborating with Queen's Neuordivergent Alliance for an evening for parallel play.

 

This is a bring-your-own-activity event for students to spend time with other neurodivergent folks in a quiet, neurodiversity-affirming space without the pressure to socialize. Bring your special interest, crochet work in progress current hyperfixation, or just an open mind.

 

Visit us on April 10th, between 5 - 7 pm.

Karaoke Night

QTBIPoC Crafting (Tote Bag Painting)
