Queers for Peers invites you to this coffeehouse for 2SLGBTQ+ students!

Come meet some of our queer staff and connect with your peers. We will have board games, crafts, beverages, and snacks.

Students who are BIPoC and/or 2SLGBTQ+ are invited to a networking reception with food. Come connect with peers, staff, faculty, and alumni who are BIPoC and/or 2SLGBTQ+ & talk to Career Services staff and resources, and potential employers!

TransFamily Kingston and Yellow house invites trans, nonbinary, and gender diverse community members to join us for a potluck style dinner to connect with each other and celebrate the season. December 21st at 5pm at 140 Stuart Street.

Stop by the Yellow House to grab a FREE prepared kit full of all the ingredients you need to make a delicious snack this month. Visit Monday - Friday 11am - 4pm to grab yours, while supplies last!

Ingredients:

Apples, Pears, Vanilla extract, Cinnamon, Salted butter, All-purpose flour , Oats, Granulated sugar, Brown sugar

Recipe

For the filling:

Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) 

Mix together chopped apples/pears, sugar, 1 tsp flour, 1/8 tsp cinnamon, and vanilla in a small bowl 

Transfer the mixture into a 10-ounce ramekin  

For the topping: 

In another small bowl, stir together 3 tbsp of flour, oats, brown sugar, and 1/8 tsp of cinnamon 

Cut up softened butter and add to the bowl, then mix it together using a fork or your hands 

Scatter the topping on top of the ramekin evenly and place the ramekin on a small, rimmed baking sheet 

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the apples/pears are softened and the topping is golden
