Curling up for a long winter’s nap

An adorable puppy. (Wearing my wife’s joke hat).

The Fall term is coming to a close and, like any entity faced with the weight and cold stillness of early snow, Gradifying goes now into hibernation. We begin again with the start of the Winter term in January.

Look forward to more posts in the new year, in particular, on professional development, futures in academia, and alt-ac jobs.

As ever, more of our inbox is filled with unsolicited offers for guest posts from people in faraway countries on home decor, real estate, and finding true love than it is with feedback from Queen’s students. If you’d like to tip the balance (or if you have any insight into how spamming blogs’ email accounts actually achieves any gains for the spammers–I’m curious) write us at gradify@queensu.ca.

Thanks for reading and may your Winter break, however long it is, be restful.

  1. So from the School of Graduate Studies, even though it seems a tad early to be saying this, have a happy and safe holiday period. Come back refreshed!
