Fee Payment Methods |
Here you can find information on fee payment methods accepted by the University.
Credit card payments (Mastercard or VISA) are accepted only for Continuing Teacher Education (CTE) and Arts and Science Continuing Distance Studies (CDS) students. Please contact the CTE or Continuing and Distance Studies offices for more information on this payment method.
Over-the-counter payments (for tuition) are NOT accepted at the Office of the University Registrar.

Contact YOUR financial institution to add Queen's University to your Telephone, Internet and ABM banking payee list.
Your Queen's student number serves as the Queen's account number to make your payment.
For further details, please visit your financial institution's web site. Please be aware that it can take 2 to 4 days for your payment to reach your Queen's student account.
Note: Queen's University does not accept credit card payments.

Tuition and related fees such as; residence, UHIP, and Meal Plans may be applied to a student's tuition account. Payments for these fees may be electronically transferred to Queen's University, but the student should be advised that, aside from the initial bank, the receiving bank may impose service charges and additional handling charges.

Payments by mail are usually made by students living outside Canada. For those living in Canada, we recommend using other payment options.

Students whose fees are to be paid by a bonafide external agency on receipt of an invoice from Queen's University must provide written authorization from the agency to:
The Office of the University Registrar, Services and Records, Attention: Fees by August 1st.

You are reminded that, if your agency has already provided Health, Dental, and/or Hospital Insurance you must complete the described opt-out procedures by the applicable deadline dates or you will be held personally responsible for payment of these fees. Please refer to the Student Activity Fee section applicable to your program.

Government Student Financial Assistance (loans and grants) programs are meant to supplement other financial resources. As such, government assistance recipients are expected to meet their payment requirements using funds other than government loans or grants.
Students who have been assessed for 2011-2012 OSAP assistance will receive an automatic deferral of the tuition payment due September 1st, 2011 up to the value of their OSAP entitlement.
Students from other provinces / territories in Canada will be asked to complete an "Alternative Payment Arrangement" form, along with a copy of their 2011-2012 Notice of Assessment from their home jurisdiction, and submit them to the Office of the University Registrar. |
